Is Subway Healthy Choice? No! It’s as Unhealthy as McDonald’s!

Subway has been lying to their customers for years! You are not eating fresh at Subway!

In 1965 a 17-year-old, Fred DeLuca, started Subway. He wanted to make extra money to pay for his college tuition.  He borrowed $1,000 from Peter Buck, a family friend, who would later become his business partner.  Their food has always been marketed as being healthy and fresh. Doctors Associates, Inc.now own the Subway chain, which in turn has the same owners: Fred and Peter.  Neither of which are medical doctors.  From what we can tell, Doctor’s Associates, Inc. does nothing more than own Subway. It only gives the misleading impression that they consult doctors about the nutritional value of Subway’s foods. Subway no longer offers healthy and fresh alternatives.

In fact, there are no doctors that are part of Doctor’s Associates, Inc. at all.

Did you know that the 9-grain whole wheat bread that smells and looks freshly baked contains 50 ingredients including conditioners, refined flour, refined sugar, MSG, etc?

White Italian Bread: Ingredients: Enriched flour (barley malt, wheat flour, niacin, thiamin mononitrate,  iron, riboflavin, folic acid), sugar, water, contains less than 2% of the following: fermented wheat flour, salt, soybean oil, yeast, wheat protein isolate, wheat gluten, dough conditioners (acetylated tartaric acid esters of mono- and diglycerides, ammonium sulfate, calcium sulfate, azodicarbonamide, ascorbic acid, potassium iodate, amylase [enzymes]), lactic acid, sodium stearoyl-2-lactylate, sulfites, mineral oil.

Even the bread at Subway is toxic.

Instead of using sunflower, peanut or olive oil, they chose to use soybean oil.

If we look at all the veggies, like the pickles or peppers, they all look so yummy, appetizing and bright. Do you think they are all natural? No! The black olives contain ferrous gluconate. It’s an additive which main purpose is to keep the olives black.

Every single ingredient in your own “made” Subway sandwich is like that: artificial! Whether it is frozen or vacuumed sealed in plastic, or both, you are certainly NOT eating HEALTHY, FRESH at this food chain. We can hardly consider the bread as bread.

It is certain that nearly every single product that Subway offers contains soy. Therefore, it is obviously and entirely GMO soy since it is an American company. Even the meatballs contain soybeans as one of their first ingredients.

Think twice where you will eat next time!
