There are many factors that can cause cancer. They range from our environment to our emotions. Cancer rates are unfortunately on the rise. But, like it or not, the food is everything. What you eat is what radiates out. There is certainly a way to cut something out of your everyday diet and make your body healthy and thrive.

Since the 1920s, Dr. Otto Warburg, along with other health experts, has been talking about how cancer loves sugar. Surprisingly many doctors don’t tell their cancer patients that as long as they continue eating processed foods full of sugar, they will actually have more difficult time fighting this modern disease.
The German physiologist, medical doctor, leading biochemist, and Nobel laureate was convinced that a person could starve cancer right out of the body. Of course, it may not always be that easy, but this is something that could significantly change the game of our lives.
His theory was that malignant cells and tumor growth was caused by cells that generated energy via ATP – adenosine triphosphate through a nonoxidative breakdown of glucose (sugar). The process of recycling of the metabolite from this process called glycolysis. The circulation of adhA back into the body caused anaerobic respiration. This is in fact the reverse of what happens with healthy cells. Non-cancerous, healthy cells generate energy for the body to use through the oxidative breakdown of pyruvate, the end product of glycolysis, which leads to oxidized mitochondria. That is how he concluded that cancer was really a mitochondrial dysfunction. The process of oxygen respiration in the body is changed to the fermentation of sugar. The body should not develop cancer if you remove sugar.
The connection between cancer development and sugar is certainly not new.
Most people can easily remove the obvious culprits that are full of refined sugar – candies, cakes, cookies, etc. The real problem is that many foods packaged and sold in USA and in other countries all over the world are full of refined sugar. Unfortunately manufacturers are hiding them in the packaging labels. Products like ‘healthy’ yogurt, whole wheat or whole grain breads, cereals and even ‘low-calorie’ products can be full of sugar.
The easiest way to eliminate unwanted refined sugars is to stop buying pre-packaged or ‘convenience’ foods. And at least temporarily, don’t eat out at restaurants . Unfortunately, many dining establishments source their food from big companies. They ‘season’ their food with lots of salt and sugar in order to make it more palatable after being frozen and shipped across the country in trucks. Even just amazing salad dressings is full of sugar. To deal with cravings for sugary foods, increase your healthy animal based proteins (no red meat) and plant-based and eat more nutrition-packed foods.
