This Natural Homemade Syrup Will Save You From Cough!

Carrots are an excellent source of vitamins A, B6 and beta-carotene. These healthy veggies can lower cholesterol levels, improve eye health, and reduce the risk of cancer. However, they can also effectively suppress cough. They contain vitamin A that can reduce the symptoms of asthma and other respiratory problems and boost your immunity. It contains beta-carotene and beta choline that can keep asthma in check. According to a study, a deficiency of vitamin A can increase the risk of bronchial infections.

Honey is great natural ingredient. In people affected by respiratory problems it has the ability to reduce a cough.

Homemade syrup to fight cough

Needed Ingredients:

  • 1/2 kg of carrot
  • 3-4 spoons of honey

Directions:

Dice the carrots and put them in a pot. Add water so the carrots are completely submerged. Boil them then remove them from the pot.  Mash them with spoon. Mix the water with honey and then mix the water with the mashed carrots. That’s all! Keep it in cold temperature.

Use:

Take 3-4 spoons of this homemade syrup a day!
