Make Lemongrass-Ginger Tea To Heal Digestive System

Making lemongrass-ginger tea is an excellent booster for your immune system. This super-healthy tea is an effective home remedy for numerous health problems. You should drink 500 ml to a liter on a daily basis for therapeutic use.

Combined together, ginger and lemongrass give the most powerful and effective drink. This tea is significantly beneficial for people who:

How to make lemongrass-ginger tea

You will need the following ingredients for a 500 ml (17 oz) glass of tea:

  • 600 ml (20 oz) pure drinking water.
  • 1 torch ginger bud
  • 3 big lemongrass bulbs
  • 2 inches ginger root

Accordingly if you want to make bigger volume of tea you can multiply the above portions

Directions:

Boil 600 ml of water in a non-aluminum pot

In order to release the fragrance, oils and phytonutrients cut the ingredients

Place the ingredients into the boiling water and let it simmer for 5-8 minutes

Then, turn off the fire. Cover the pot with lid and let it steep for 20-30 minutes

Make sure to strain well. You can also add 1 tablespoon stevia or raw honey. You should drink this tea every day while it is still warm.

Tip for busy people:  Prepare the tea in the night if you don’t have time in the mornings. Leave it in the pot to cool then in the morning just boil it little bit again. Pour into a thermal flask so you can drink it at your workplace. You can drink it during the entire day but make sure not to keep it for more than 24 hours.

This drink has also diuretic effect, so you will be going to the toilet more often. The tea will eliminate the toxins out of your body.
