Simple homemade recipe with freshly cut tomato against red face, inflamed skin and acnes!

Getting rid of acne doesn’t have to take a lot of time and be expensive. In fact, the solution can be easy and may be growing in your own vegetable garden. You don’t have to go in beauty salon to gain shiny effect on your face. You face with this recipe will be soft and will look very young.

Using tomato as part of your everyday skin care routine can actually help reduce the appearance of acne scars and clear up acne. This red fruit is high in several vitamins like Vitamins A, C, E, K, and B6.

These vitamins provide your skin with much-needed nourishment.  It is also important that the acidity of tomatoes can help in balancing the pH levels in the skin.

What to do?

Sometimes the simple solution is the best. Just slice the tomato in half and rub this red fruit gently on the affected areas of your face.

Massage the tomato juice into your skin and rinse. While it’s not the most effective treatment, it works great when you only have few minutes to get it done.

Tomato face mask:

If you have extra time for yourself (week nights or weekends), this method should work perfectly well on even heavy acne.

Take one tomato and cut it little bit (making X) on the top. Then place the tomato for about a minute under warm water and nicely remove the skin. Remove most of tomato seeds and then mash up the rest of it into a paste. Apply this paste to your entire face and let it set for about one hour before rinsing. (Put relaxing music and enjoy in the time dedicated for yourself!)
To make the face mask “stronger” you can also add mashed cucumber or yogurt to the mask mixture.

Tomato juice face wash:

If you don’t have time (or you don’t want to!) sit around with tomato mask on your face for an hour try the next variation:
Mix few drops of lemon juice with one tablespoon of tomato juice in a small bowl. Apply this lemon/tomato juice mixture to affected areas of the skin and let it set for around 5 minutes. Rinse well with warm water.
