THIS Is The Easiest Way To Check Your pH Balance
Why we should all check our pH Balance? Our body needs an alkaline environment in order to maintain its optimal function. The cells, the beneficial bacteria in the gut and the immune system can function better in a slightly alkaline environment. An acid body indicates that the system actually do not function as efficiently as it is supposed to.
Scientists have proven that when the pH levels of the body are too acidic then the body becomes prone to many diseases:
- Chronic inflammation
- High blood pressure
- Weakened immunity
- Premature aging
- Weight gain, obesity and diabetes
- Slow metabolism and inability to lose weight
- Yeast/fungal overgrowth
- Mood swings
- Slow digestion and elimination
- Bladder and kidney conditions, including kidney stones
- Low energy and chronic fatigue
- Joint pain, aching muscles and lactic-acid buildup
- Weak or brittle bones, osteoporosis, fractures and bone spurs
Toxic chemical and medications, drugs can lower the pH of the body. This is the main reason why drugs have many side effects. When the pH of the body drops below 6.4, it leads to not proper function of digestion, a deactivation of the cells. Vitamins and minerals, as well as food supplements can’t effectively assimilate.
Acid makes our body more susceptible to fatigue and illness. It reduces the ability to detoxify heavy metals, the energy production in the cells, and the ability to repair damaged cells. In other words, our body pH affects everything. A lot of studies showed that disease can’t survive in an alkaline environment and that bacteria, mold, fungus, yeast, viruses, cancer cells and candida thrive in fact in an acidic environment.
An acidic pH can occur as a result of toxic overload, emotional stress, an acid forming diet, and immune reactions. They can deprive the cells of oxygen and other essential nutrients. So, the body uses alkaline mineral reserves like calcium from the bones and sodium from the stomach. They can only lead to osteoporosis and many other diseases. If you do not intake enough minerals through the diet, this will lead to accumulation of acid in the cells, and will cause symptoms like pain, arthritis, MS, lupus, and fibromyalgia.
It is a fact that the modern disease – cancer – can’t survive in a healthy pH environment full of oxygen. Cancer of the heart does not exist because there is a highest pH and oxygen levels of the blood flowing from the lungs into the heart. When the blood travels through the lungs, acidic toxins are actually eliminated from the system and leaves the body with a high blood pH and rich with oxygen. Glucose undergoes fermentation to lactic acid in the absence of oxygen. It causes the pH of the cells to drop even lower.
How To Check the pH Balance
Luckily, everyone can test the pH Balance or levels at home at any time of the day. However, the recommendation is to do the test at the same time each morning because the body will be more acidic the earlier you do the test. The morning urine pH needs to be between 6.5 and 7.5. The saliva pH needs to be similar to the urine pH.
Wait 2 hours after eating in order to measure the saliva pH. Make sure to fill your mouth with saliva and then swallow it. Repeat this procedure once again to make sure your spit is clean. Then, put some saliva on the pH strip.
It is okay if you are not able to entirely overhaul the diet. Do not forget to mention that stress can have big part in your pH levels. Drink plenty of water, exercise, eat veggies, practice deep breathing or yoga in order to lighten your acidic load.
