Cancer is Modern and 100% Man-Made Disease! A New Statement from Researchers
Modern day lives cause cancer. It is completely man-made disease.
This is a result of one study, which tested ancient mummies. Researchers examined fossils and classical literature. They found that tumors were rare until such a time on our planet when poor diet and pollution became an everyday and real negative issue.
Michael Zimmerman, a visiting professor at Manchester University, together with his colleague Rosalie David carried out the investigation. They explained that during such a time when there was no surgical intervention, there should have been evidence of the disease which claims more than 150,000 lives a year only in the UK. But this was not the case.
Professor Zimmerman explained, “We must interpret the virtual absence of malignancies in mummies as indicating their rarity in antiquity, indicating that cancer-causing factors are limited to societies which are affected by modern industrialization.”
The study was carried out by the professors in an attempt to trace back to cancer’s roots. He hoped to find a cure for the increasingly common man-made disease.
They proceeded to rehydrate slivers of tissue from hundreds of Egyptian mummies. They examined them for signs of cancer, to which only one case was confirmed, despite past evidence showing that cancer cells are better preserved by mummification than that of healthy tissues.
Nature Reviews Cancer is a journal that also reports that researchers have found only a few dozen examples of cancer in animal fossils. But there is no confirmation for these examples.
Probably the ancient Greeks were the first who gave definition for cancer as a specific disease. They were also the first to distinguish between malignant and benign tumors. This evidence does not suggest a significant rise in the disease, but rather a development in medical knowledge.
In one conference, Professor David presented the findings of the study to Professor Mike Richards, the UK’s cancer tsar, and other oncologists. He said:
“Cancer, in modern and industrialized societies, as a man-made disease and cause of death, is only second to cardiovascular disease.
But in ancient times, it was extremely “hard to find” or rare. There is nothing that can cause cancer in the natural environment. So it has to be a man-made disease, down to our lifestyles, the pollution and changes to our diet.
“The important thing about our study is that it gives past or historical perspective to this man-made disease. Having a full overview we can make very clear statements on the cancer rates in societies. We have looked not 100 years back but at millennia.
“The extensive ancient Egyptian data, together with other data throughout the millennia, has given modern society a clear message. Cancer is man-made and something that we can and should address.”
Dr. Rachel Thompson, from the World Cancer Research Fund, said that in the UK, about one in three people will get cancer at some stage in their lives. So it is commonplace during our modern lifestyles, in this modern world. It is simply something that we should all be conscious of.
Scientists claim that maintaining a balanced and healthy diet, doing regular exercises and physical activity and maintaining a healthy weight can actually prevent a third of common cancers.
