7 Cancer-Linked Products That We All Have in Our Homes!

Are you aware that you have Cancer-Linked Products in your home? Do you often check the ingredient list on the products you buy? If you don’t pay attention on what you buy, chances are big that your home is full with cancer-causing laundry detergent, toothpaste, household cleaners etc.

Cancer-Linked Products

The following seven products that are hiding in every home are connected to cancer:

  1. Shampoo

Most shampoos on the market are full with chemicals, including parfum/fragrance, sodium lauryl sulfate, synthetic colors and parabens. Studies have shown that parabens are carcinogen. One study found that 99% of breast cancer tissues had parabens in them. Fragrance and other toxins are connected to  cancer, nervous system disorders, birth defects and allergies. Head & Shoulders shampoo specifically, contains synthetic colors, fragrance, SLS and other chemicals.

  1. Non-Stick Cookware

Non-stick cookware contains a synthetic coating called Teflon or polytetrafluoroethlyene. When heated to 450F or higher, this plastic polymer releases toxins. One study found that heating Teflon cookware for just 2-5 minutes on a stovetop can cause the coating to break apart, emitting gases and toxic particles. Some of the chemicals in non-stick coating are potential carcinogens.

  1. Plastic Bottles – One of the most common Cancer-Linked Products

Drinking from a plastic water bottle is not always good solution. The chemicals in the plastic can seep into your mouth. Research piles up about the dangers of BPA so many companies are scrambling to add a “BPA-free” label to their plastic bottles. Studies have shown it can cause cancer. Try a glass bottle. It’s better for you and the environment as well.

  1. Air Fresheners

All over the homes and even in cars, many people keep air fresheners. Air fresheners contain a synthetic fragrance that is full of toxic chemicals. Companies, instead of listing all the chemicals on the back of the product, simply add “parfum” to the ingredients list. Try essential oils if you want to keep your home smelling fresh without the toxins.

  1. Household Cleaners
